Welcome to the new website!

We’ve had a lot of success these recent years – and hopefully a lot more to come!

In 2007, the Michael Thomason Band was nominated for Independent Album of the Year (Ridin’ The Night Train) by the European Country Music Association, and in 2008 for Band of the Year!

2010 has brought us a dynamic, fresh new album, 100% Chance of Tears, which so far, has been released overseas and was named one of the best indie releases of 2010 by the ECMA. European Radio loves us! In addition to the current sounds of MTB, the album features two golden tracks never released. Julia and California were recorded in 1974 with Buck Owen’s Buckaroos in Bakersfield, CA. Jessie debuts her moving songwriting presence on A Library Lost and Work With Me. 100% Chance of Tears is fresh and fun and we’re looking forward to sharing it with you. Domestic release is upcoming, stay tuned….But get your copy now at CD Baby!

After all that hard work on the album – we’re looking to be back on the road!

We’ll be keeping you updated – so check back often…
